Grid – patterns in grass

Amorpark 15.5.2019
In May visual artist and landscape architect Jacob Kamp install a temporary art work in grass, “Grid”, in the Amorpark, Copenhagen. The work uses the existing lawns that are cut in a grid, where the squares in the pattern are allowed to grow high, while the stripes will be cut down and create paths that you can walk through. To enforce the biodiversity in the city, you let the grass grow high several places in the city’s parks and this is utilized in “Grid” to create a spatial element that offers a new experience of the park.
